BENJAMIN IFEANYI ELEANYA
BENJAMIN IFEANYI ELEANYA is a Consultant in MILESTONE PARTNERS. He has researched, taught and consulted widely on legal issues bordering on cybercrime, financial and economic crime as well as maritime. He currently teaches criminal law, commercial law, jurisprudence and conflicts of laws at the University of Calabar and has presented papers at both local and international fora on various issues bordering on his area of specialization.
Benjamin is qualified to practice as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Thus, before joining the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar, he has worked in some highly rated law firms where he practiced as a trial lawyer and represented clients at the various courts in Nigeria. He has equally advised on several areas of law especially transnational border crime, cybercrime, data protection and several areas of maritime issues.
He obtained his Bachelor Degree (LL. B) from the University of Calabar, duly called to the Nigerian Bar and went further to obtain his Master of Laws (LLM) from Swansea University, United Kingdom. He is a member of various professional bodies within the legal circle and these include Nigerian Bar Association, Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law and Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators
